I have created, from scratch, many reports to determine the efficacy of social media marketing, lead generation sources, and customer service initiatives.
I have experience using the following Analytics tools:
- Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud
- Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- SEMRush
- Meta Business Insights
- Microsoft Excel
I have used Salesforce to create numerous ad hoc reports based on the needs of multiple stakeholders. Activity Reports, Lead Reports, Opportunity Reports, and various other Salesforce reports. I have created campaign lists by filtering specially created lead sources.
I have created Excel sheets that use data linking in order to automatically update the linked sheets when the original sheet is updated. I also have the ability to create complex formulas linking data from one sheet to another to determine conversion rates, CPA (broken down by city and lead source), CPL (broken down by city and lead source), Percentage of sales revenue used for client acquisition, and many other required data points.
I have used SEMRush to analyze keywords and keyword difficulty as well as volume to determine the best keywords to focus on during keyword campaigns. SEMRush was also helpful in determining most visited pages on sites and competitor analysis.
Meta Business Insights were used to determine the most effective posts (posts with the most reach and the most engagement). It allowed me to analyze the top performing posts and determine what is more appealing to our target audience for future post creation.
Google Analytics and Google Search Console were used for Search Engine Optimization for company websites. It allowed us to determine how long people were staying on the site and helped the company realize that the website content needed to be quickly updated. Search Console was helpful in letting us know how our website users were finding us and how we could tap into that market by focusing keyword campaigns on more popular Search Console terms.
I have used A/B testing to determine the most efficient type of advertising for my clients while maintaining the voice of the brand. While I understand that there are a plethora of analytical tools, most of the skills above transfer or are similar to other analytical tools used in Marketing. I learn quickly and will take time outside of work to learn necessary skills to complete any job requirements.
